Compliance Voltage

Compliance voltage represents the maximum voltage a current source will reach as it attempts to produce the desired current at the desired rate of change.

This calculator uses the following formulas to calculate the Compliance Voltage

When Highest Frequency (f) is specified:
V = (L * (I/(1/f) * 0.25)) + (I * Z)

When Required Rise Time (t) is specified:
V = (L * (I/t) + (I * Z)
