Robust Amplifiers for Relay Testing

AE Techron’s Relay Testing amplifiers were created to meet the demanding requirements of the power utility industry. With models capable of outputting up to 200 amperes peak current, these Relay Testing amplifiers are powerful enough to put protection relays, fuses and other critical components through a full range of tests.

All models are capable of a controlled-current bandwidth of DC – 10 kHz and a controlled-voltage bandwidth of DC – 100 kHz. Low noise floor, low distortion and minimal phase error make these amplifiers ideal for power grid modeling.

    The 7212 is a four-quadrant, 0.44 kVA, DC-enabled power amplifier that was created to meet the exacting requirements of the power utility industry. It features a DC to 250 kHz bandwidth, low noise floor, fast slew rate and a 113V RMS potential. The 7212 can be combined to form a 3-phase Y voltage source, and has a wide range of field-configurable options.
