AE Techron’s DSR 425 is a comprehensive AC, DC, and mixed-mode (AC + DC) test system designed to meet a wide range of civil, commercial, and military aviation standards. The DSR 425 comes preprogrammed with an extensive library of standard tests. Users can easily modify existing tests or create new ones to accommodate over-testing or non-standard requirements.

It provides full compliance with:

  • RTCA DO-160 Sections 16, 18, and 19
  • MIL-STD-704 Sections 1–8
  • MIL-STD-461 (CS101)

 

System Features:

  • Easy to modify existing tests or build new test sequences
  • Operate as a free-standing system using the included monitor, keyboard and mouse, or control via LAN
  • Can function as a controller or node in a larger test system via built-in LAN and GPIO controls
  • All models of the DSR 400 Family are 4-quadrant
  • Models up to 160ADC continuous output current available

OVERVIEW

Included with the system are all necessary components for Electric Field, Magnetic Field, and Induced Spike testing, such as coupling transformers, cables, and chattering relay. System power is supplied by AE Techron’s rugged, high-performance amplifiers, engineered to deliver up to 5× rated power for up to 200 ms—ideal for surge and inrush current testing.

To support your setup and ensure accurate testing, the DSR 425 Test System includes two hours of expert consulting with EMC specialist Patrick G. Andre, who can assist with system configuration, test execution, and interpretation of standards.
