SIM-BNC-OPTOC
Specialized Input Module
The SIM-BNC-OPTOC Specialized Input Module allows multiple AE Techron amplifiers to be configured as a series output system to increase the available output voltage to the load.
The SIM-BNC-OPTOC kit also includes a BNC connector safety cover. The SIM-BNC-OPTOC module is required for Series configurations for 7224, 7234, 7548, 7794 and 7796 amplifiers. It should be used in conjunction with the DB9M CABLE.

Other Accessories
CR600
Chattering Relay
The AE Techron CR 600 Chattering Relay is a cost-effective, rugged yet elegant solution to the DO 160 Section 19.3.5 “Spikes Induced into Interconnecting Cables” test requirement.
Internally built around a 50A high-current relay with two independent sets of contacts, the CR 600 was engineered for double the life before refurbishment.
The CR 600 uses quick-connect, touch-proof connectors to ensure efficient setup and a safe test environment. It also includes quick-clip test points for oscilloscope monitoring of tests in progress.
When driven from an intermittent voltage source like the AE Techron DSR 100-25 and utilizing test waveform, “Section 19.3.5 CR 600”, the CR 600 output meets the voltage (600V), duration (50 – 1000 µs) and repetition-period (0.2 to 10 µs) requirements specified by the DO-160 standard.
ESO-20/40 Cable
For Ground Reference and Supply Offset Testing
The AE Techron ESO-20/40 cable was designed for use in ground reference and supply offset testing as required by ISO 16750-2 Section 4.8 and other similar automotive EMC standards.
The ESO-20/40 cable can be used to connect from the AE Techron 3110A’s balanced output to the balanced input of an AE Techron amplifier.
The ESO-20/40 cable extends the common-mode rejection of AE Techron amplifiers, allowing the amplifier negative output terminal to be raised above ground by up to 40V (meeting requirements for systems up to 24V).
VMON20
Voltage and Current Monitor
Not compatible with 7100 series, 8000 series, and 9000 series amplifier models.
AE Techron’s VMON20 provides a fast and convenient connection for scaled monitoring of voltage and current output on many AE Techron amplifiers. The VMON20 attaches to the amplifier via the DB-25 Interlock connector located on the amplifier’s back-panel SIM input card. It provides scaled voltage output to monitor the amplifier output voltage (20V to 1V).
The VMON20 also provides easy access to the amplifier’s internal scaled 20A to 1V current monitor (5A to 1V on 7212, 7224 and 7234 amplifiers).
GCL
Ground Current Limiter
Not compatible with 7100 series, 8000 series, and 9000 series amplifier models.
AE Techron’s GCL provides active protection against excessive ground current. It is superior to the factory-default ground-current protection on many AE Techron amplifiers (a 2.7-ohm resistor between the amplifier’s Chassis Ground and COM or Sampled Common output terminals) because it places the amplifier in Standby, provides a visual indication that a fault has occurred, and can be easily reset.
